Fall is in full swing and October has arrived.
October is Fire Prevention Month. We will be reviewing fire procedures with residents twice in the first week of October. The same information is presented at both sessions so residents can choose one or the other, or both. The Fire Procedure Discussion will take place on October 3 and October 7.
Flu shots are now available at Flatland Drugs. Flatland Drugs has provided us with time slots for residents on Wednesday, October 5. If residents are unable to make one of these times, they can schedule an appointment at Flatland Drugs.
Chef Jason is working on the new fall & winter menu. We are looking forward to that!
Halloween celebrations will begin the week of October 24. We are seeking resident judges for the staff pumpkin carving/decorating contest on Thursday, October 27. Resident pumpkin carving will take place on Saturday, October 29. On Halloween, staff and residents can dress up. We will celebrate with a Halloween Party accompanied by entertainment by Keith & Gary.
